Pre-filter Replacement for any Junior-size Austin Air Purifiers
The Austin Air Junior Pre-Filter is a replacement large-particle pre-filter designed for Junior-size Austin Air purifiers. Made from a poly-cotton blend, it captures larger airborne particles such as dust, hair and pet dander before they reach the main filter. As the first stage of filtration, it helps protect the remaining filter media and maintain proper airflow through your Austin Air Junior purifier.
The Junior Pre-Filter can be replaced as needed depending on the amount of dust and particle buildup. Austin Air does not specify a fixed replacement schedule for the pre-filter. If it becomes heavily soiled or you notice significantly reduced airflow, replacement may be appropriate. Austin Air states that Junior filters are designed to last up to five years under normal residential use, while the pre-filter itself can be replaced separately when needed.
