The HealthMate Plus (Junior Unit) Austin Air Purifier
The Austin Air HealthMate Plus Junior Air Purifier is a compact HEPA air purifier designed for smaller spaces where chemicals, VOCs, smoke, gases, and odors are a concern. Its 4-stage filtration system combines large- and medium-particle pre-filters, over 270 cubic inches of activated carbon, potassium-iodide-impregnated carbon and mineral-based filtration, and 30 sq. ft. of True Medical Grade HEPA. The HEPA filter is rated to capture 99.97% of airborne particles down to 0.3 microns and 99% down to 0.1 microns, including bacteria and viruses, while the enhanced carbon filtration helps remove VOCs, formaldehyde, benzene, chemicals, gases, smoke, and odors.
The HealthMate Plus Junior is designed for small bedrooms, apartments, nurseries, home offices, and other smaller spaces, particularly where chemical exposure is a concern. Austin Air Canada highlights it for environments affected by wildfire smoke, traffic pollution, wood-burning smoke, urban smog, new furniture, construction, and off-gassing materials. Its 360° air intake draws air through the 4-stage filter, while the filter is designed to last up to five years under normal residential use, providing long-lasting air purification in a compact, durable steel unit.
