Returns & Exchanges
We want you to feel confident shopping with Vac Connection. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
Most eligible items may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery.
Return Conditions
To qualify for a return or exchange, items must be:
- In clean, sellable condition
- Free from damage, missing parts, or strong odours
- Returned with the original packaging, manuals, parts, and accessories
Defective items will be reviewed once returned.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
Some items are not eligible for return or exchange, including:
- Products that are damaged, misused, dirty, or have strong odours
- Equipment used for hazardous material recovery
- Soiled filters
- Refurbished items sold at reduced pricing
- Electrical or mechanical replacement parts, unless defective on arrival and approved after inspection
- Special-order or non-stock items, unless approved in advance
Special-order items may be subject to a restocking fee.
Replacement Parts
Please make sure the part you order is the correct one for your vacuum or appliance.
Electrical and mechanical parts, including batteries, motors, assemblies, circuit boards, and similar parts, are generally final sale unless defective on arrival and approved after inspection.
We are happy to help confirm compatibility before you order.
Dyson Replacement Parts
Dyson replacement parts must be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Electrical or mechanical Dyson parts do not qualify for return or exchange unless defective on arrival and approved after inspection.
If a part is returned because it was ordered by mistake, no longer needed, or not factory sealed, a restocking fee of up to 30% may apply.
Items that are damaged, tampered with, or misrepresented as defective may not qualify for a refund.
How to Start a Return
To start a return or exchange:
- Contact us by phone, email, or through your online account.
- We can provide a Return Authorization number / shipping label and return instructions.
- Pack the item securely with all original parts, accessories, manuals, and packaging.
- Once we receive and inspect the item, we will confirm if it qualifies.
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
For exchanges, we will ship the replacement item once the return is approved.
Shipping Notes
Return shipping and restocking fees may apply to some items, including central vacuum canisters, central vacuum packages, special-order items, and unclaimed deliveries.
If a package is sent to a pickup location after a missed delivery attempt, it must be picked up within 5 business days. Unclaimed packages returned to us may be subject to shipping and restocking fees.
