The HealthMate Plus Austin Air Purifier
The Austin Air HealthMate Plus Air Purifier is designed for advanced indoor air purification, with additional filtration for environments where chemicals, VOCs, wildfire smoke, renovation fumes, and other gases are a concern. Like the HealthMate, it uses a 4-stage filtration system with 60 sq. ft. of True Medical Grade HEPA and up to 15 lbs. of activated carbon and mineral-based filtration. The key difference is the HealthMate Plus uses potassium-iodide-impregnated carbon, providing enhanced filtration of chemicals, gases, and odors.
The HealthMate Plus combines this enhanced gas and chemical filtration with extensive particle filtration. Its medical-grade HEPA filter is rated to capture 99.97% of airborne particles down to 0.3 microns and 99% down to 0.1 microns, while its 360° air intake draws air in from all sides. With solid steel construction and a filter designed to last up to five years under normal residential use, the HealthMate Plus is designed for bedrooms, living rooms, offices, classrooms, and other indoor spaces where enhanced air purification is needed.
